Focus On The Highlights Of The 8Th Erdos Cashmere And Wool Exhibition
On May 16, the press conference of the 8th China (Ordos) International Cashmere and Wool Exhibition hosted by the China Wool Textile Industry Association was grandly held in the Inner Mongolia Building in Beijing. The conference announced that the 8th China (Ordos) International Cashmere and Wool Exhibition will be held in the National Fitness Center of Dongsheng District, Ordos City from July 18 to 20, 2025, with the theme of "cashmere chain global wisdom endows the future".
As an important wind vane in the global cashmere and wool industry, the exhibition has been successfully held for seven consecutive times, attracting more than 1000 enterprises from all over the world to participate in the exhibition. It is an important platform for displaying cashmere products, exchanging technology, negotiating cooperation, and an important window for deepening exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign cashmere industries, promoting cross integration and innovation and upgrading of industries, It is also an important carrier to promote Ordos cashmere industry to become a leading national and world-class industrial cluster and build a world-class cashmere industry with high-quality development.
Liu Jiaqiang, President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, delivered a speech to the press conference and introduced the relevant information of the exhibition. This exhibition will attract international top brands and domestic leading enterprises from Britain, France, Italy and other countries to participate in the exhibition. It is estimated that there will be more than 200 exhibitors. At that time, the exhibition will display the new industrial ecology of "international design+Chinese intelligent manufacturing+global market", and will release the achievements of new technologies and new equipment in the cashmere industry chain. During the exhibition, the 2025 China Cashmere Industry High Quality Development Conference and the 9th International Cashmere Testing Technology Seminar will also be held, and the cross-border e-commerce platform will help cashmere products go to sea, and link with "Young· The "2025 China Innovative Creative Design Competition" and "2025 China World Model Competition Finals" promote the cashmere industry to be intelligent, green and high-end. In addition, the exhibition will also innovatively launch the "Ten Thousand People Embroidery" performance and the "Luxury Summer" theme cultural and tourism activities to bring immersive experience to the audience and achieve the integration of cultural heritage and modern industry.
As a world-famous cashmere industry cluster, Ordos has more than 360 cashmere enterprises, accounting for 50% of the country's annual processing capacity and 33% of the world's annual processing capacity. It has cultivated Ordos Group with a market value of more than 100 billion yuan, and has led the development of international cashmere standards. China (Ordos) International Cashmere and Wool Exhibition is an important carrier for Ordos to polish the golden card of "China's Cashmere City", build a new brand of "World's Cashmere City", and build a "world-class cashmere industry". Since 2018, the exhibition has been successfully held for seven consecutive times, attracting industry experts and scholars, leading enterprises and excellent exhibitors, with a total exhibition area of more than 150000 square meters, about 1700 exhibitors, more than 2300 domestic and foreign purchasers, more than 450000 purchase consumers, and a total transaction amount of nearly 4 billion yuan, It has played a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of the regional cashmere textile industry. This exhibition will upgrade and innovate on the basis of previous ones to create an international industrial event integrating trade cooperation, technology empowerment and cultural and tourism experience.
Wang Huichun, Deputy District Chief of Dongsheng District People's Government of Ordos City, introduced that the exhibition was well prepared with rich content and highlights, drawing on the successful experience of all parties. First, make every effort to create an innovative exhibition. The conference will invite international and domestic industry elites, experts and scholars, fashion experts, well-known designers, cashmere and wool upstream and downstream enterprises, and domestic and overseas media to attend, hold the building of world-class cashmere industry high-quality development conference and the ninth international cashmere technology testing exchange conference, and explore the new path of high-quality development of cashmere industry. The second is to build an open exhibition. Leaders of international embassies and consulates as well as representatives of exhibitors from France, Italy, Britain, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia are invited to attend, and international pavilions are set up to deepen strategic cooperation with international brands. Third, we will make every effort to create talent exhibitions. By holding Young Rong 2025 China Ordos Creative Design Competition, "Ten Thousand People Embroidery" and other activities, we established a deep cooperation relationship with Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, promoted the local implementation and transformation of university innovation achievements, built a bridge for excellent local talents to go to universities for further study, and at the same time attracted college graduates to work in Ordos.
